Delta to bring Cleveland, Ohio a nonstop link to its Salt Lake City hub

Delta Air Lines is linking Cleveland Hopkins International Airport with a nonstop flight beginning July 8 to its Salt Lake City hub, bringing customers direct access to the great leisure and business options along Utahโ€™s capital region and many other great one-stop onward destinations.

Salt Lake City service marks the eighth Delta nonstop destination from Cleveland, bringing an increase of Delta peak day departures to over 40 percent and seat levels by 100 percent in the last five years.

The flying will operate on the following schedule:

For customers, the onboard Delta experience will be on Airbus A319 aircraft, with seating for 12 in First Class, 18 in Comfort+ and 102 in the main cabin. Free in-flight streaming entertainment via Delta Studio and access to Wi-Fi is available at every seat.

In other news,ย Delta is also bringing New York nonstop service to Chattanooga customers, thanks to new nonstop service to be flown six times weekly beginning July 9.

The flights will be operated by Delta Connection carrier Endeavor Air on CRJ900 aircraft with seating for 12 in First Class, 20 in Delta Comfort+ and 44 in the main cabin. Complimentary beverages and snacks will be served and customers will have access to inflight Wi-Fi.ย  Flights will operate on the following schedule:

The new LaGuardia service will complement existing Delta service, offering 12 peak-day departures from Chattanooga with global connections via the airlineโ€™s hubs at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

More than 70 years ago, Delta began serving Chattanooga and the southeastern Tennessee community on 21-passenger Douglas DC-3 aircraft.

S7 Airlines launches flights from St. Petersburg to Croatia

S7ย Airlines willย launch scheduled flights from St. Petersburg toย Pula, Croatia, starting on May 27, 2018.

Flights from Pulkovo Airport toย Pula will beย carried out onย Sundays starting May 27, 2018. Flights will depart from St. Petersburg atย 07:05 and arrive atย Pula Airport atย 09:15 local time. Return flights will depart atย 10:10 and arrive atย Pulkovo Airport atย 14:20. The flights will beย carried out on Airbus A319ย aircraft.

Pula isย the oldest Croatian city onย the Adriatic coast where you can find one ofย the largest preserved amphitheatres ofย the Roman Empire, which isย considered toย beย the cityโ€™s main attraction. Ifย you goย toย Pula, you can also plan aย visit toย other fascinating Croatian cities inย Istria, such asย Rovinj, Poreฤ and Rijeka. Besides, here you can take aย ferry toย Italian Venice.

S7ย Airlines isย actively expanding the geography ofย flights from Pulkovo Airport toย Western Europe. S7 Airlines to add a new route to Barcelona

S7 Airlines will add the St. Petersburg, Russia – Barcelona route on April 27. The new route will be operated two days a week with Airbus A319s according to Airline Route.

Delta to start the Salt Lake City – Pittsburgh route

Delta Air Lines (Atlanta) will introduce a new spoke route from the Salt Lake City hub to Pittsburgh starting on July 8, 2018. The daily route will be operated with Airbus A319s according to Airline Route.

Deltaโ€™s Seattle growth continues for sixth straight year with 3 new destinations

Delta Air Lines is kicking off the New Year with a 10 percent increase in peak-day seats at its Seattle/Tacoma hub for summer 2018, driven by the addition of three new destinations as well as more flights and larger aircraft operating between existing routes. The new destinations include Washington-Dulles and Kansas City, which will launch on June 8, and Indianapolis, which will launch on June 18.

New Service to Washington-Dulles, Kansas City, and Indianapolis

Delta will offer one daily round-trip each to Washington Dulles International Airport, Kansas City International Airport, and Indianapolis International Airport. Washington-Dulles service will be operated using Boeing 737-800 aircraft, Kansas City service will be operated using E-175 aircraft, and Indianapolis service will be operated using Airbus A 319 aircraft.

Delta adds frequencies and larger aircraft to existing routes

Based on more demand from Seattle customers, Delta will launch additional flights to Las Vegas, New York-JFK, Orlando and Medford during spring/summer 2018 and will expand its summer seasonal service to Cincinnati to year-round. Additionally, Delta will offer seasonal weekend service to New Orleans from Feb. 10 through March 31.

The airline will also use larger aircraft to operate several existing routes, including Austin, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Nashville, Phoenix and San Diego.

Growth shows strength of Delta’s Seattle hub

Delta’s significant growth in Seattle to start 2018 speaks to the strength of its Sea-Tac hub. The airline will operate 174 peak-day departures to 54 destinations in July 2018, an increase of 11 departures compared with summer 2017 and 96 departures over summer 2014. Delta’s domestic seats will be up 112 percent over summer 2014, with 80 percent of Delta’s domestic seats served from Seattle on mainline aircraft for summer 2018.

Delta and its joint venture partners Aeromexico, Air France-KLM, Alitalia, Virgin Atlantic and WestJet serve 16 international destinations from Seattle, including Amsterdam, Beijing, Hong Kong, London-Heathrow, Paris, Seoul-Incheon, Shanghai, Tokyo-Narita, and eight destinations in Canada and Mexico. Air France will also begin direct Seattle-Paris service in March to complement Delta’s existing service. In 2017, the airline added or expanded service to nine destinations, including Austin, Boston, Chicago, Eugene, Lihue, Milwaukee, Nashville, Raleigh and Redmond.ย  Seattle is also Delta’s primary gateway to Alaska with service to five destinations โ€” Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, Ketchikan and Sitka.

Lufthansa will be flying from Frankfurt to Zadar in Croatia for the first time in Summer 2018

Lufthansa is adding another connection to its flights from Frankfurt to tourist destinations in Croatia with the Summer 2018 flight schedule. After Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik and Pula, the airline will be flying from Frankfurt to Zadar (below) for the first time in 2018, beginning on April 28, 2018. Every Saturday and Sunday, an Airbus A319 will take off towards the Croatian coast.

Zadar is located on the central Adriatic coast and in the heart of northern Dalmatia. It is the economic, cultural and political center of the region, with approximately 75.000 inhabitants. Its coast, nearby islands and pristine nature are all very popular with tourists. The archipelago of 24 large and 300 small islands and skerries, three nature parks and five national parks put Zadar and its region among Croatiaโ€™s top-ranking tourist destinations.

Return flights to Zadar are already available for booking, with prices starting at 89 euros. Air Canada’s inaugural flight, AC1872 fromย Torontoย to Cartagena departed on the morning of December 18, 2017, marking the airline’s newest destination in its ongoing international expansion.
