Blue Air announces its 2020 summer schedule

Blue Air, the largest Romanian airline by the number of passengers, launched its 2020 summer schedule. Blue Air passengers can choose out of the 70 routes in 16 European countries for their next summer holiday.

The Blue Air summer schedule becomes effective on March 29, 2020 and is valid until October 31, 2020. The tickets are already available on Blue Air’s reservation website.

Passengers who plan their holidays for the summer of 2020 will be able to choose, among others, the following routes:

From Bucharest to: Barcelona, Birmingham, Bordeaux, Brussels, Castellón, Catania, Cluj Napoca, Copenhagen, Florence, Glasgow, Hamburg, Helsinki, Iasi, Cologne-Bonn, Larnaca, Lyon, Lisbon, London Luton, Madrid, Malaga, Milan-Malpensa, Naples, Nice, Rome Fiumicino, Stockholm-Arlanda, Strasbourg, Tel Aviv, Valencia.

From Bacau to: Brussels, Dublin, Liverpool, London Luton, Madrid, Milan-Bergamo, Rome, Turin.

From Cluj to: Bucharest, Dublin

From Iasi to: Barcelona, Brussels, Bucharest, Cologne-Bonn, London Luton, Munich, Paris-Beauvais, Rome Fiumicino, Turin.

From Turin to: Alghero, Catania, Ibiza, Lamezia Terme, Naples, Palma de Mallorca, Trapani.

From Larnaca to: Athens, Bucharest, Thessaloniki.

Pegasus Airlines’ Boeing 737-82R TC-CPF runs off the runway at Trabzon, Turkey

Pegasus Airlines flight PC 8622 operating from Ankara to Trabzon on January 13, 2018 with the pictured Boeing 737-82R TC-CPF (msn) 40879) ran off the side of runway at Trabzon on landing. The aircraft ended up on a steep embankment.

There were no injuries.

Pegasus Airlines issued this statement:

We’re sorry to report that the Boeing 737-800 type TC-CPF registered aircraft of Pegasus Airlines Flight Number PC 8622 Ankara-Trabzon flight scheduled at 18:25 UTC tonight, had a Runway Excursion Incident during landing at Trabzon Airport ( January 13, 2018). All 162 passengers, 2 pilots and 4 cabin crew have been disembarked safely from the aircraft. There has been no loss of life or injury to anyone on-board.

Monarch Airlines leases a Boeing 737-800 for the summer

Summer lease for crew familiarization for upcoming 737 MAX 8s

The pictured Pegasus Airlines TC-AAY is seen arriving at the Birmingham base on May 18, 2017 on lease for the summer for crew familiarization before the new Boeing 737 MAXs arrive.

The new type will be operated this summer as G-ZBAV.
