Aurigny Dornier 228 Alderney (Aurgigny)(LR)

Aurigny Air Services (Guernsey) has introduced it’s first Dornier 228 to its fleet. Named after Guernsey’s neighboring island of Alderney, the new aircraft will be the first of four to be delivered soon as the carrier replaces it’s aging Britten-Norman Trislanders.

Aurigny said on it’s official Facebook page:

“Aurigny is delighted to announce that its first Aurigny branded Dornier 228 has arrived in Guernsey. It is painted in the airline’s livery with “Alderney” written along the fuselage. The aircraft is wholly owned by the company and will be used on the Alderney routes.”
