Delta Air LInes (Atlanta) is planning to launch weekly flights from Pittsburgh to both Nassau, Bahamas and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on December 21, 2013 per Airline Route. The flights will be operated on Saturdays and will be flown with Delta Connection Bombardier CRJ900s (carrier not specified).

Southwest Airlines Company (Dallas) has announced new nonstop service between Chicago (Midway) and both Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The flights, subject to governmental approvals, will be operated by Southwest’s wholly owned subsidiary AirTran Airways.

Southwest and AirTran currently operate a combined 200+ daily departures from Chicago (Midway) including daily service to Cancun, Mexico, which began in May 2012.

Frontier Airlines (2nd) (Denver)ย today (June 9) launched new nonstop seasonal service between Denver (DEN) and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (PUJ), taking the number of nonstop Frontier routes from Denver to a record 68, and increasing the airlineโs international destinations served from Denver to eight. The service will operate on Saturdays beginning today and continuing through August 4, 2012.
