Flydubai (Dubai) is expanding with new routes to eastern Europe. The fast-growing carrier will start three new routes from Dubai to Bratislava (twice-weekly starting on December 6), Prague (four weekly flights starting on December 5) and Sofia (twice-weekly starting on December 14) per Airline Route.

Dalmatian (Zagreb) will not fly. The would-be airline, which planned to launch operations on June 30 as we previously reported between Zagreb and Sofia, has stopped selling tickets and is issuing refunds. The start-up stopped all business after a major investor pulled out.
The airline issued this statement:

Dear Customers,
It is with great regret that Dalmatian has made the decision to stop selling its tickets due to one of its investors leaving the company. This departure has affected our ability to provide you, the customer the proper support and services to launch Dalmatian and unfortunately, we do not expect this issue to be rectified in the short term. We have therefore made this decision now to safeguard our customerโs interests.
As such, we have notified our bank (PBZ) to issue FULL REFUNDS to all passengers who have purchased a flight ticket with Dalmatian, to be effective immediately. Our bank has processed the refunds today and customers can expect their refunds to be deposited on their credit card account with which they made their original purchase.
We, at Dalmatian, must sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this has caused you.
