Air Libya (Benghazi) has brought on line and painted this ex-Air Algerie Boeing 727-2D6 registered 5A-DKV (msn 22374) in the full 2003 colors. Air Libya is privately owned and was originally established in 1995 as Tibesti Air Libya (Tripoli). The company now operates charter flights in support of the Libya oil industry. 5A-DKV is used on passenger charter operations and is part of a diminishing network of passenger operators of the trijet.
