TUI fly Belgium asks for a livery design for a leased AirExplore Boeing 737-800

TUI fly Belgium will be leasing a Boeing 737-800 from AirExplore for this upcoming summer season. The airline is asking its social media readers to help design a livery for the summer lease:

“In the busy summer months we rent extra planes to bring everyone to their destination. But such a white aircraft is of course a bit boring … That’s why we ask you if you want to make a creative, unique, funny, eye-catching design for our AirExplore Boeing 737-800. This will take off and land all summer at Brussels Airport. Upload your design for the tail and fuselage of the aircraft before Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 11.59 pm. Good luck!

TUI fly Belgium issued this statement:

To make optimal use of its fleet during the less busy winter season in Europe, TUI fly Belgium is operating charter flights from Canada and the United States. A total of eight Belgian registered aircraft (and Belgian crews) are flying tourists to and from exotic โ€“ and warmer โ€“ destinations.

The holiday airline is operating for Apple Leisure Group (ALG), a vertically-integrated travel and hospitality conglomerate focused on packaged travel and resort/brand management in Mexico and the Caribbean. And for two charter airlines: Sunwing Airlines and Miami Air, the latter, however, without Belgian crew.
