Boeing to invest $100 million in Indian maintenance facility

Boeing (Chicago, Seattle, Wichita and Charleston) is planning to invest $100 million in order to build a new MRO maintenance facility in Nagpur, India. The new facility will maintain the Boeing 787 Dreamliners of Air India, now scheduled to be first delivered in the second quarter of 2011.

The first Boeing 747-800F is rolled out at Everett in a new livery

Boeing (Chicago, Seattle, Wichita and Charleston) last night (November 17) rolled out the first Boeing 747-800 dressed in a new livery featuring a large “8” on the tail and “747-8” on the lower fuselage. The first delivery customer is Cargolux. The new type will make its first flight in early 2010.
