Interjet is bolstering its service to Los Angeles adding new, nonstop flights between Los Angeles and Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta and El Bajío, Mexico. Interjet already serves Los Angeles with nonstop flights to Cancun, Mexico City and Guadalajara, Mexico. This new service is scheduled to start on November 23, 2017.
Interjet’s new Los Angeles service will be operated using Airbus A320 aircraft with 150 seats. The initial schedule from Los Angeles will be for three frequencies per week to Los Cabos, four flights a week to Puerto Vallarta and daily service to El Bajio, all at convenient departure times.

EcoJet (Linea Aerea EcoJet S.A.) (Cochabamba) started scheduled passenger operations on November 24. The new airline is operating two 93-seat Avro (BAe) RJ85 aircraft (CP-2788 and CP-2814 per ch-aviation). The inaugural flight was from Cochabamba to Santa Cruz and Sucre according to El Dia. The company is also operating from Cochabamba to Trinidad and Riberalta.
The airline is planning to expand to Tarija and Cobija in the second phase.

Interjet (Mexico City) today (August 2) launched its first service from New York (JFK) to Mexico City. The daily flights add a third gateway city in the United States for Interjet, which already operates out of Miami and San Antonio.
New York represents the airline’s sixth international destination. In addition to the three U.S. cities, Interjet flies to Guatemala, Havana, and San Jose, Costa Rica.
The JFK service departs from New York at 7:25 am (0725) Monday through Friday and 10 am (1000) on Saturday and Sunday. Return flights leave Mexico City at 4:40 pm (1640), arriving at JFK at 10:30 pm (2230).
