Aviastar 146-300 PK-BRD crashes in Indonesia
Aviastar (Mandiri) (Indonesia) lost its ex-Flybe BAe 146-300 PK-BRD (msn E3189, ex G-JEBC) on April 9 when it struck a mountain in the clouds on approach to Wamena, Indonesia. It was flying from Jayapura on a cargo flight.
EFly is getting ready to fly
EFly (www.efly.it) (Italy) is a new airline formed by Air Sicilia founder, Luigi Crispino. It is planning to launch operations with two ex-Flybe 112-seat BAe 146-300s (G-JEBF and G-JEBG).

Air Dolomiti (Verona) continues to retire its BAe 146 fleet as the new Embraer ERJ 195s arrive. The company has put its second BAe 146-300 (I-ADJG, msn E3169) into storage at Exeter. This follows the retirement of I-ADJF (msn E3193) in January. The remaining three 146-300s should be gone by the end of the year.
