InselAir arrives again in Port of Spain, Trinidad

InselAir (Curacao) yesterday (December 15) relaunched service to Port of Spain in Trinidad and Tobago. The inaugural flight was operated with the pictured Fokker F.28 Mk. 0070 P4-FKC.

The company issued this statement:

On Monday December 15, InselAir relaunched it’s 20th destination Trinidad and Tobago with an festive early breakfast at Curacao International Airport followed by the inaugural flight to Piarco International Airport in Port of Spain. The flight was operated with a Fokker 70, with 80 seats, which was acquired by InselAir earlier this year. InselAir will operate flights from Curacao to Port of Spain three times per week; on Mondays and Thursdays departing Curacao at 10:30 AM and arriving in Trinidad at 12 PM. On Tuesdays the flight leaves at 4:15 PM and arrives in Trinidad at 5:45 PM which provides business travels a perfect schedule for a two-day business trip.

JetBlue Airways today arrives in Curacao

JetBlue Airways (New York) today (December 2) launched twice-weekly flights to its latest Caribbean destination, Curaçao. The airline now offers up to 121 daily flights from the U.S. to the Caribbean, of which up to 56 daily flights are nonstop from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), with 26 routes from the two airports to the region. JetBlue offers more routes than any other airline from the U.S. to the Caribbean.

The twice-weekly service from JFK to Curaçao International Airport (CUR) operates on Tuesdays and Saturdays with an Airbus A320.

JetBlue to launch a nonstop New York JFK-Curacao route on December 2

JetBlue Airways (New York) will launch a new route to Curaçao International Airport (CUR) from JFK International Airport (JFK) on December 2, 2014, providing the only nonstop service from New York. The twice weekly service will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Curaçao, which is part of the ABC islands that also includes Aruba and Bonaire, is considered a hidden gem amongst all Caribbean island destinations, renowned for its diving, beaches and unique architecture. The historic island is already a popular destination for European travelers and its capital, Willemsted, is a UNESCO World Heritage City.

JetBlue’s flights to Curaçao will be operated on a 150-seat Airbus A320.
