SpiceJet firms up an order for 30 Boeing 737-800s

SpiceJet (Delhi) has finalized an order with Boeing for 30 additional Boeing 737-800s.

SpiceJet earns $2.2 million, will order up to 30 Q400s

SpiceJet (Delhi) earned net income of $2.2 million in the three months ending on September 30, its fiscal second quarter.

In other news, the airline is planning to order up to 30 Bombardier DHC-8-402s (Q400s) with deliveries starting in the second quarter of 2011. The new type will be used on regional feeder routes.

SpiceJet has board approval to order 30 Boeing 737-800s

SpiceJet (Delhi) has received approval from its board of directors to order 30 additional Boeing 737-800s for deliveries between 2014 and 2018.
