Swiss International Air Lines has completed the installation of its Premium Economy Class on its Boeing 777-300 fleet.
Passengers on all 12 Triple Sevens can now enjoy its greater privacy and enhanced inflight comfort.

Fiji Airways today (July 4) welcomed South Australians back on onboard, with the first direct flight in three years departing Adelaide at 12.35 pm and touching down in Fijian Paradise at 8.15pm local time.
Todayโs flight marks the beginning of Fiji Airways twice weekly flights from Adelaide to Nadi, offering Australians a fourth route for their tropical getaway. Fijiโs national airline also operates twice daily flights from Sydney and daily flights from Melbourne and Brisbane.
Apart from Adelaide, the airline also today welcoming back our Pacific neighbors, Vanuatu with the first flight leaving Nadi at 11.25 am and returning at 5.15 pm.

Turkish Airlines has announced that as of June 20, 2022 the restrictions set by Tรผrkiye due to COVID-19 has been lifted.
The flights to Saudi Arabia have resumed to pre-pandemic conditions and Saudi citizens are able to travel to or transit through Tรผrkiye again.
Turkish Airlines flies from Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Medina by connecting travellers from KSA to 335 cities in 128 countries, including 51 cities in Tรผrkiye. Passengers are able to fly to Tรผrkiye without a PCR test or vaccination card and masks are not mandatory in the aircrafts.
With the resumption of Touristanbul, Turkish Airlines passengers with connecting flights in ฤฐstanbul Airport with 6-24 hours of between their flights will have the option to discover ฤฐstanbul and its cultural and historical wonders.
Turkish Airlines connects Saudi Arabia and Istanbul with flights from four major Saudi cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Medina.

Scandinavian Airlines-SAS has made this announcement of a pending strike:
Members of the SAS Scandinavia pilotsโ unions have been called out on strike. The strike yields cancelations across the flight schedule and thousands of travelers are affected.
Since the notice of conflict was delivered on June 9, mediation between the pilotsโ unions and SAS has been held. The strike follows as a consequence of the parties having been unable to reach an agreement. SAS wishes to continue mediation to be able to reach an agreement and end the strike as soon as possible.
โWe deeply regret that our customers are affected by this strike, leading to delays and canceled flights. We know all our passengers have been longing for this summer holiday and have booked travels for themselves and their loved ones. SAS employees are working hard to help our customers that have been affected by this unfortunate situation.
A strike at this point is devastating for SAS and puts the companyโs future together with the jobs of thousands of colleagues at stake. The decision to go on strike now demonstrates reckless behavior from the pilotsโ unions and a shockingly low understanding of the critical situation that SAS is in,โ says Anko van der Werff, President & CEO.
The strike is estimated to lead to the cancelation of approximately 50% of all scheduled SAS flights and impact around 30,000 passengers per day. The flights operated by SAS Link, SAS Connect and SASโ external partners are not affected by the strike.
The strike has a negative impact on the liquidity and financial position of the company and, if prolonged, such impact could become material.
Anko van der Werff concludes โWe are ready to resume mediation as soon as possible and we will do our utmost to reach an agreement that is viable to secure the long-term competitiveness and financial sustainability of the company. We presume that the SAS Scandinavia pilotsโ unions realize what is at stake and choose to continue the work to find an agreement.โ
Due to peak season, the possibility to rebook affected customers to equivalent flights will be highly limited. Customers whose flights are canceled, that we are unable to find viable alternatives for, are offered the options of either accepting a refund, or rebooking their ticket to a later date or to arrange alternative means of travel themselves and seek reimbursement from SAS.
SAS will send updates via SMS and email to those customers affected. There is a dedicated page for all information concerning traffic disruptions: www.flysas.com/en/disruptions, which will be updated continuously. Everyone who has a flight booked is advised to check the status of their flight on the website before going to the airport as flight status information is frequently updated.

DAT – Danish Air Transport will increase its fleet with the addition of three 118-seat ex-Great Dane Embraer 195 jetliners.
The aircraft will become operational within the next few months.

Etihad Airways celebrated the arrival of its new Airbus A350-1000 in the United States following the inaugural commercial flight from Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) to New Yorkโs John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) on June 30, 2022. The aircraft, which accommodates 371 passengers, is one of five new Airbus A350s to join Etihadโs fleet this year.
From today, all Etihad flights servicing New York and Chicago OโHare International Airport will be operated by the A350, joining Mumbai and Delhi routes that began flying in April this year.
Etihad passengers travelling to the US have access to Etihadโs US pre-clearance, the only United States Customs and Border Protection facility in the Middle East. This allows passengers bound for the United States to process all immigration, customs and agriculture inspections in Abu Dhabi before they board their flight, avoiding immigration and queues on arrival in the US.
Sustainable 50
Formed as a partnership between Etihad, Airbus and Rolls Royce in 2021, the Sustainable50 programme will make use of Etihad’s A350s as flying testbeds for new initiatives, procedures and technologies to reduce carbon emissions. This will build on the learnings derived from Etihad’s similar Greenliner programme for the Boeing 787 aircraft type.
The Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-powered Airbus A350 is one of the most efficient aircraft types in the world, with 25% less fuel burn and CO2 emissions than previous-generation twin aisle aircraft.
Etihad recently established a formal framework with Airbus to collaborate on sustainability across a number of areas, including the promotion and commercialisation of sustainable aviation fuel, waste and weight management, and the development of data-driven analysis.
Guest Experience
The aircraft features Etihadโs newest cabin interior, which is inspired by Abu Dhabi and is both more efficient and sustainable in design. Etihad is renowned for high-quality aircraft, and the A350 is filled with thoughtful design details providing exceptional comfort and enhanced privacy.
Etihadโs signature lighting design is inspired by the shadows cast by Abu Dhabiโs palm trees. The cabin lighting emulates natural ambient light and is designed to enhance the guest experience, provide an optimum environment for sleeping and reduce the effects of jetlag. The Airbus A350 also offers the quietest cabin experience for a wide-body aircraft.
Another feature to help reduce light pollution, and therefore jetlag, is the new dark-mode interface on the E-BOX inflight entertainment system. Mobile and Wi-Fi connectivity is also available throughout the aircraft.
Etihad has also thoughtfully created a โLittle VIPโ experience for its youngest guests. The programme offers newly launched Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi-themed, family-friendly amenities for children. The A350 also has a special new feature, offering interactive flight maps kids can explore with the help of some Jurassic-age friends.
Business Class
The elevated Business class is home to 44 Business Studios with sliding doors that provide a high level of privacy to each suite. Every seat faces forward with direct aisle access. The Business class seat, with a width of over 20โ, converts into a fully-flat bed of 79โ in length, and features ample storage for convenience.
Noise-cancelling headphones and an 18.5โ TV screen provide a cinematic experience to enjoy Etihadโs extensive inflight entertainment offering. The Business seats cleverly feature a built-in wireless charging dock and Bluetooth headphone pairing.
Business class guests can choose from a carefully curated ร la carte menu, and guests on longer flights can enjoy Etihadโs signature โdine anytimeโ service.
Economy Class
Etihadโs spacious Economy cabin is configured with 327 smart seats in a 3-3-3 arrangement, of which 45 โEconomy Spaceโ seats have been enhanced with an additional 4 inches of legroom.
