Frontier Airlines commences nonstop Denver-South Bend flights

Frontier Airlines (2nd) (Denver) yesterday (October 11)ย expanded its service from Denver, Colorado (DEN) with the launch of nonstop service to South Bend, Indiana (SBN).

Following is the schedule for Frontierโ€™s South Bend service:

FlyGeorgia to launch Amsterdam service on October 6

FlyGeorgia (flygeorgia.com) (Tbilisi) is planning to launch a new long-range route from Tbilisi to Amsterdam on October 6 with its Airbus A319. The carrier currently serves Antalya and Batumi from Tbilisi.

Thomas Cook Group to use easyJet next summer for their package deals

Thomas Cook Group (London) will reportedly book its package tour customers on low-cost easyJet (easyJet.com) (London-Luton) next summer raising concerns about the long-term prospects on its own in-house Thomas Cook Airlines (Manchester).

Frontier starts nonstop Colorado Springs-San Diego service

Frontier Airlines (2nd) (Denver) yesterday (September 18) expanded its service from Colorado Springs Airport with the launch of nonstop service to San Diego. This new service joins existing Frontier nonstops from Colorado Springs to Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Seattle.

Frontier drops plans for Durango-Las Vegas service

Frontier Airlines (2nd) (Denver) has announced it will not operate the nonstop service it planned to launch between Durango, Colorado and Las Vegas, Nevada starting on October 4, 2012 due to a lack of demand.

Frontier will continue to provide service to Durango with daily flights to its hub in Denver.

Air Malta reduces its yearly fiscal loss to $36.8 million

Air Malta (Luqa, Malta) (Malta)ย reported an operating loss of โ‚ฌ30 million ($36.8 million) (2011: โ‚ฌ34 million), representing an improvement of โ‚ฌ4.3 million over last year.

Frontier to fly from Trenton, New Jersey to Orlando this winter

Frontier Airlines (2nd) (Denver) continues its expansion with new winter markets. Today the airline announced new nonstop service between Orlando, Florida (MCO) and Trenton, New Jersey (TTN), with twice weekly nonstop flights beginning on November 16, 2012. Frontier will be the only airline providing scheduled carrier service out of Trenton-Mercer Airport.

FlyGeorgia launches scheduled passenger operations

FlyGeorgia (Tbilisi) launched operations on August 3 between Tbilisi and Batumi in Georgia with its first Airbus A319.

The new airline has also announced it will start new routes from Tbilisi to Amsterdam, Kiev and Minsk before the end of the year.

Frontier Airlines (2nd) (Denver) today announced new nonstop service between Orlando, Fla. (MCO), and Greensboro, N.C. (GSO), with three weekly nonstop flights beginning on November 17, 2012.
