Mahan Air (Tehran) on March 11 started operating twice-weekly flights on the Tehran-Munich route. Munich is the second destination in Germany after Düsseldorf (above). Mahan Air’s Munich flights are operating on Sundays and Wednesdays with Airbus A310s.

Previously on November 4, Mahan Air celebrated the launch of scheduled flights from Tehran to Beijing nonstop service linking the capitals of Iran and People’s Republic of China and marking the carrier’s 14th international destination. It is also the airline’s first regular flight to China.
The thrice weekly flights are operating via 299-seat Airbus A340-300 in two class configuration. Beijing is Mahan Air’s third new international route after Yerevan and Shiraz to Dubai which were inaugurated in summer 2014.

Pacificflier (Pacificflier.com) (Palau) has suspended its charter operations. The new airline has so far been unsuccessful in obtaining scheduled airline rights and is reorganizing under new leadership. The company has been wet-leasing this Airbus A310-304 CS-TEI (msn 495) from HiFly. However the airline intends to operate more appropriate aircraft on the routes it wants to fly.
Whitejets Transportes Aéreos (Rio de Janeiro-Galeao) is a new Brazilian charter airline. The new airline is owned by José Manuel Antunes who also owns Omni Aviation of Portugal, which in turn owns White Airways (Lisbon). Whitejets launched operations on June 12, 2010 between Rio de Janeiro (Galeao) and Sao Paulo (Viracopos) and Veradero (Cuba) with an Airbus A310-300 wet leased from White Airways.
A new route to Cancun was also inaugurated on July 12 from Brazil.

PacificFlier.com (Koror) commence operations on March 30 between Clark Field (near Manila) and Palau. The new airline finally added Brisbane and the Koror-Brisbane scheduled route on March 31 (delayed from January 7, 2010) with Airbus A310-304 registered CS-TEI (msn 495), leased from and operated by HiFly (Lisbon). The new airline is the new flag carrier of the Republic of Palau. It has the full backing of the government of the Republic of Palau.

The company will introduced these flights with its only Airbus A310-304 registered CS-TEI (msn 495), leased from HiFly. The new airline is the new flag carrier of the Republic of Palau. It has the full backing of the government of the Republic of Palau.
The Airbus A310-300 will be flown in a two cabin configuration of Economy and Premium Economy sections. 18 Premium Economy seats offer 54″ pitch and 21″ width, while the rest of its economy seats offer 32″ pitch and 18″ width.
PacificFlier.com (Palau) is a new airline which is planning to commence scheduled operations on January 7, 2010 to Brisbane, Guam, Manila (Clark) and Tokyo (Narita). HiFly will operate its Airbus A310-304 CS-TEI (msn 495) for the new flag carrier. The aircraft is painted in the basic colors of Oman Air with PacificFlier.com titles.

SABA, Yemen’s official news agency, is quoting an unknown website named Almotamar that claims French warships engaging in military exercises near the Comoros Islands mistakenly shot down the crashed Yemenia Airbus A310-304 7O-ADJ (msn 535) on June 30, 2009. 7O-ADJ was operating flight IY 626 between Sana’a and Moroni in the Comoros Islands. The official investigation continues and this report cannot be collaborated with any other reliable sources.
